Nutanix (NTNX) is looking for a passionate and enthusiastic Systems Engineer (SE) who will work closely with Account Managers to cover accounts in the Northern Latam Region (NOLA). This role is crucial 
for supporting our growing territory. What sets this role apart is your ability to clearly communicate the value of Nutanix while understanding the unique needs of our customers and prospects. Your primary responsibility is to collaborate with the sales team and provide technical knowledge about Nutanix solutions to customers and prospects. You will offer technical expertise through sales presentations, product demonstrations, and training for channel partners. Additionally, you will guide prospects through crucial technical evaluations (POCs) that are vital for closing deals. You will also work with various teams to address customer concerns, escalate product issues, and act as an ambassador for our brand.

Your Role
  • Articulate the business outcomes and benefits of Nutanix solutions to influence customer’s purchases to drive business transformation 
  • Size and configure Nutanix solutions 
  • Understand the customer’s business drivers and how to map these to a Nutanix solution. 
  • Partner with sales counterparts in developing account plans, customer persona coverage models and proposal creation to recommend and design solutions basedon Nutanix offerings 
  • Lead consultatively in discovering requirements, developing solutions, and positioning solutions to achieve business outcomes. 
  • Create and deliver technical product presentations and training sessions remotely or at customer locations and Nutanix facilities, ensuring that partners and customers fully understand the benefits of our solutions. 
  • Collaborate with the wider presales team and obtain technical wins in the shortest and most professional manner Install, support, and maintain Nutanix solutions during pre-sales proof of concept deployments. 
  • Foster long-term business relationships and become a trusted advisor to our customers, identifying opportunities and selling Nutanix solutions. 
  • Ability to travel within assigned territory and other locations including Corporate HQ. 
 
What You Will Bring
  • You should have 3 to 5 years of Sales Engineering experience in a high-tech sales environment with a successful track record of driving customer adoption of technology. 
  • Hands-on, and “do what it takes” attitude to drive success. 
  • Team player with strong drive 
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate professionally with partners, customers, and internal cross-functional teams including Sales, Marketing, and Engineering 
  • A structured thinker with strong presentation and problem-solving skills 
  • You must possess a high level of specialized sales and product solution knowledge, including a thorough understanding of one or more of the following areas:  Containerization & Kubernetes, Hybrid Cloud Architecture, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), Cloud Economics & ROI and Virtualization & Hyperconverged Infrastructure (HCI) 
  • It is important that you have the ability to motivate, train, and conduct seminars with our partners to increase Nutanix revenues within your assigned territory. 
  • You must have a proven track record of maintaining relationships with technical resources at all levels of a customer organization. 
  • You should be flexible, dependable, a self-starter, and capable of quickly learning new products and technologies. 
This position is primarily remote. There is no specific in-office requirement, however, there may be circumstances where you may be required to come into a local office for a specific purpose, and/or to travel to other locations based on business needs.
